VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC ASSISTANT COMBINES DIFFERENT OEM SOFTWARE INTO ONE INTEGRATED SYSTEM
Southfield, MI - Today's commercial vehicle systems are growing both in complexity and in electronic content. With this increase in complexity and the new sophistication in electronic vehicle content there is a significant need for tools that aid technicians in the service of these new vehicles. Diagnostic Innovations works with customers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) to tailor the Vehicle Diagnostic Assistantâ„¢ (VDA) to meet the specific diagnostic needs of individual customers.
The VDA integrates diagnostic software from OEM's into one easy to use tool. Diagnostic Innovations LLC validates the system and removes possible software conflicts between the various programs. The number of cables and interface boxes needed for the VDA are minimized giving the technician an easy to use ready to go out of the box tool. "Our Vehicle Diagnostic Assistant can be customized to include various diagnostic OEM software for engines, transmissions, braking and refrigeration systems. Utilizing open architecture, the system is PC based and easily updateable. The graphical user interface enhances the tools ability to guide the technician through diagnostic procedures, enabling the technician to get to the root of the problem quicker. " says Drew Gibson, manager of the commercial business team.
Diagnostic Innovations LLC has partnered with Panasonic to utilize the power, strength and portability of it's "Ruggedized" Toughbook line of products with the VDA. "The Panasonic Toughbook is a perfect tool for the rough environments often encountered at service bay locations. The Toughbook is designed to withstand the harshest conditions. You don't realize the importance of having a dependable tool until it's not working and you are not able to get your vehicles back on the road. The Panasonic Toughbook is the right tool to help you avoid those costly situations." says Gibson.
